Top 10 kids brand in Europe
Today we would like to share yet another list of our favorite children’s brands with you. After having looked at children’s brands from Berlin, the cutest styles for the little ones in Paris, all-time classic children’s fashion brands from Spain and beautiful designs for our youngest from Sweden, Norway, Finland and Denmark, it’s time for an overview: Our top 10 kids fashion brands in Europe.
What are the differences from one country to another? And which brands or styles do you prefer?
Mini Rodini, Sweden
Stripes, dots, the cutest Koala bears and frogs…Mini Rodini is a little bit of everything! A fun mix that makes kids and parents alike smile. Mini Rodini was founded in Stockholm in 2006 as a “tribute to all children and their imagination and sense that everything is possible” as they say. We love this brand for the bright colors and bold prints on comfortable clothing your kids won’t take off for days.
Noé & Zoë, Germany
Noé & Zoë, a label created and run by Nicol Zinell out of Prenzlauerberg in the north of Berlin, is all about organic and local production in Portugal. Next to baby and children’s clothing, at Noé & Zoë’s you will also find super cute dresses for women, comfy home-wear like pillows and bedding and a wide array of extremely cute accessories.
Tiny Cottons, Spain
The name Tiny Cottons might somewhat be misleading: This brand is far from being only about cotton wear shrunken to fit children sizes. Barb Bruno and Gerard Lazcano set out to with an ‘adult brands’ approach to build this stylish and bold children’s fashion brand of quality products made in Europe. Eco-friendly, fair trade, recycled materials for non-cotton fabrics are some of the words you will hear when speaking about their collections. Tiny Cottons aims to be the brand that kids choose for comfort and fun, parents for their design and freshness and grandparents for the quality in the fabrics – and we think they have achieved this!
Mis Crios, Finland
From Finland comes Mis Crios – with a brand name that at first evokes a Spanish flair. Cecilia Sörensen, founder and designer, first introduced the brand at Playtime in Paris in 2015 and has since surprised us with new ideas every season. She gives an interested twist to the garment, reinterpreting women’s clothes for children giving mother and daughter a nice way to mix and match, no matter the age and size. Mis Crios aims for using organic materials and quality in every aspect of their production in Barcelona, Spain and Tallinn, Estonia.
Indikidual – a mix of individuality and children. This brand from the UK with influences from Sweden, makes unisex designs for kids aged 0 to 10 years old. Inidikidual encourages kids to ‘playful self-expression, spontaneity and daring to be individual‘. Their hand-drawn prints and organic cotton materials are surely something special. And so are the pieces in each collection, as they are nicknamed after little indikiduals that provided inspiration for them.
Maan Kids, Belgium
This brand from the heart of Antwerpen combines creativity and elegance in their collections for girls and boys (up to 16 years old). Combining prints, colors and graphic design elements, designers Vicky and Evelyne make sure ‘children all over the world are walking around in fashionable clothing’.
Little Eleven Paris, France
Just as the creations for adults, Little Eleven Paris is all about creative and contemporary styles. “Cool kids with style” as they put it. Little Eleven Paris proposes a full wardrobe for fashionistas from four years to 14 years old. You can find the colourful collections on their own online store, through other retailer stores and their own three stores in the Paris region, in the Marais area, on Etienne Marcel street and a bit outside the city centre in Levallois-Perret.
These hand-produced children’s pieces from Póznan in Poland surprised us with the bright colors and fun designs. Miszkomaszko is a family business created by Agata Durniewicz out of love for fashion, drawing and her hometown. All their garments are designed, printed and made in Poland, to keep a close relationship with the people they work with and make them part of the Miszkomaszko family.
Wolf & Rita, Portugal
Before Wolf & Rita was born, the two sisters Sonia and Claudia already had gained a rich background in specialized shirt making. So the step to create their own brand came naturally. Wolf & Rita ‘cultivates the savoir-faire and inspiration of the past to create children’s wear for everyday use’.
Wolf & Rita’s collections are all made in Portugal, speaking of high quality and of a great support to their local community.
Mees, The Netherlands
Mees is a happy lifestyle brand that supports a sporty way of living through quality and comfortable children’s clothing. The subculture of US prep schools has inspired the Mees style and fit: sweats, tees, chinos and polos that are comfortable to play in without compromising on style. Mees is already on FashionTrade and we had the chance to interview them.
